Sounds like it could be tendonitis, but sounds very acute from what your describing, keep with the ice and some anti-inflamatories see how it feels tomorrow. ( take two aspirin and call me in the morning)

BUmp. Just wish we could get better info, did you just wake up with it like that?? What were you doing the day before?? There had to be a predicating incident of some kind. I have had creaking before, it has always been associated with a tear or some other soft tissue damage.

It would help to know EXACTLY what is going on. More info.

If you can't put a load on it, how do you expect to continue your cycle? Not really asking...Im more or less stating....

You could always work on your legs while you heal up.

o.k. Im awake that description I gave was wacked. Here we go.I havent had any trouble with it before.I was pulling up on an objectwhile lying on my side palm facing up for an extended period of time using only my thumb and hand basically to hold object in place and needing all the force I could create up to keep it steady. It is swollen it creeks anytime I move my wrist up down side to side I cant even think about doing a press. And alot of the pain seems to generate from the thumb and then travels up the top of the fore arm. Thanks any advice .Asperain or ibuprofain.I am iceing.I will focus on legs. Will the test and eq help it to heel faster?

how long ago did this happen? i would stay with the ice to bring down swelling. ibuprofen for swelling. and imo i would stay on aas helps recovery time. once swelling goes down you can then look to adding some heat for blood flow. good luck bro.

I'd say give it a little bit of time....it's still soon enough that it COULD heal itself in time so that you could continue. When it starts feeling better, I would work it light. If it doesn't get better, I would just come off unless you want to strictly focues on other parts of your body.

Ice,Heaps of Glucosamine and Rest should heal it. I owuld still get a medical opinion though

You might have developed a carpal tunnel syndrome, damaging the nerves in your wrist. Go and see a physio or a sports therapist. Doctors are clueless when dealing with athletes, unless you see a specialist.

Not to be a dick, but I fucking hate when someone writes that they are having problems and doesn't give enough information. I understand not everyone has the language ability to completely write coherent english sentences. But if you want help you need to give data. And anyone can type with the other hand.

However if you are in such pain I would go to the doctor ASAP. Probably you fucked up something serious and need high level medicine. Do not think it will go away. I had that same fucked up attitude and for 7 months had to baby an injury that needed surgery. After the operation the doc said to me that he didn't understand how could someone withstand so much pain for so long.

He was right. It was stupid. Go to the doc now!

depends on how bad it is. try some aleve for a few days. if not better see a doc. if you cant train,,,no need to cycle.

I would take a break if I were you. If yo continue on with your cycle you run the risk of injuring your wrist more and wasting your cycle... I'm thinking tendonitis is a possibility as well.

I agree with 375RANGER. Keep up you routine of aas to expedite ( quicken ) recovery, but avoid lifting with the injured limb until you experience no more pain. Since it is the forearm, stop all things 'upper body' that includes the injury or even causes stress to the injury. i.e. - where you even feel slight pain, but even though you're not working the forearm or anything near it, somehow it still hurts.

If it worsens without any stimulation on your part, take yourself to the emergency room and have them x-ray it. It sounds like tendons. Those can hurt more than broken bone.

You guys, what's the oral or inject. that strengthens the white, connective tissue? I remember reading about it on this forum or somewhere, and it is used specifically to aid in the strengthening of connective tissue...especially for knees and such. I read eons ago that red fiber grows fast, but the white, connective fiber, takes a lot longer, so this is why many lifters tear the muscle away from the bone. Cannot remember, for the life of me, the name of the drug that helped strengthen the white shit.

I know exactly what ur decribing...

I had a similar injury and got it after doing preacher curls with a straight bar - palms facing up and what not...

IT IS PAINFUL...

Took about 6 weeks to feel better...but that's because I was a persistant prick that insisted on putting more stress on the tendons of my elbow.

I could still work the bicep....just had to use different lifts...

First...take a week off any bicep work....chest and back lifts will work the muscle as a secondary point of focus...

I gave up curling with bars (even ez bars) altogether for 6 weeks...

Went with hammerfist curls....dumbell curls....and used some resistance training...

I asked a few of the pros at the gym....and they basically said that my bicep wants to complete the lift...but my forearms are weak in stabilizing the weight so my tendons paid the price...

It will go away....but I feel for you....because I can relate to just how painful and dibilitating it is...

I will only use the ez curl bar now...and haven't had a problem since - oh...and I also use tennis elbow braces at the gym....helps take some of the pressure off the elbow and forearm...

Good luck
