I live in Melbourne, Australia. After visiting the Synthetek web site I discovered that Synthergine is not available in Australia. Now looking to use alternative products such as the liv 52 and milk thistle.

Synthergine is supposed to be the best but hey, if you can't get it then Liv52 and Milk Thistle are you best options! (correct me if I'm wrong guys).
How come you don't get it in Australia??? I actually thought it was shipped from somewhere around there...(just a guess - feel too lazy to look it up right now!)

If you're in Australia look up Musashi. They have a couple of liver support products that, although are in dry powder form, are superb. Bioavailablity is the best I've seen in powders. Their stuff tests extremely clean and pure. You might consider taking a combination of L-Arginine, L-Lysine and L-Methionine I would add a good Milk Thistle to it.
I use "Musashi Huan: Dispersion Formula" daily as an ongoing liver support. Obviously powders are not going to be as effective as Synthergine. But an excellent second.
Link to Huan: L-Methionine, Choline and Inositol mix: http://www.musashi.com/cpa/htm/htm_store_product_view.asp?cat_id=6&cat_exml=store%5Flifestyle.exml&search_query=Powders&search_type=0&search_field=product%5Frange&nav_counter=3&product_id=49
Musashi is garbage. I used to know one of the guys that used to work there (before it was bought by Nestle) and he used to tell me how they used to sell more 'pure' Creatine than what they used to buy as raw powder - think about it!

What the hell. I deleted that post. Well it's gone now. I must be having a senior moment!!!
That would definitely put a black mark on the company if your guy is telling the truth. I don't know enough about you or the subject to challenge your post. And you appear to be well respected in this community.
What I will say in my defense is that I do know a handful of health care professionals who use Musashi in amino acid therapy and who have shown me respectable lab test results for purity on a few of their amino acids. And these few guys are guys I truly respect for their efforts and studies. One of these guys is on a first name basis with Musashi. It will be interesting, and fun, to toss your post at him.
Musashi BCAA's did help put a lot of size on me before exogenous testosterone came into my life. So, even with your point noted, "garbage" may be a bit strong of a word.

Any company can make up lab tests. Unless they are made by an independant party, they don't count.
Their creatine is like chalk and doesn't dissolve. It's garbage. Real pure creatine mixes instantly in water and it has no taste, definetely no chalky residue. The chalky crap is from the fillers.
If one of their leading products is like that, what would make you trust all the others?
How many bcaa's did you have daily, to put a lot of size on you?
BTW, Musashi has a FANTASTIC marketing machine, only bettered by MuscleTech.

If one of their leading products is like that, what would make you trust all the others? That's a good point. But nobody I know uses Musashi creatine. Maybe that explains the oversight. Out here Musashi is known only to a few, and mainly for their BCAAs and liver support amino acid blends.
How many bcaa's did you have daily, to put a lot of size on you? It's been awhile. But if I remember correctly, about 3g every 2-3 hrs
BTW, Musashi has a FANTASTIC marketing machine, only bettered by MuscleTech. That's interesting because out here very few have heard of Musashi. There are only a small number of us that believe in the use of amino acids and actually use them.
Comments in red.
*You've introduced doubt that I will definitely follow up on. You're stirring up stuff! Haha!
** Musashi sponsored the bulking cycle. My diet was good. My workouts were good. And Mushashi supplied the BCAAs at no cost to me. I went from about 165LBM with a total weight of 186lbs to 194LBM with a total weight of 208lbs in about 7 or 8 months natty at age 48. I did monthly water weighings to track the gains.
Now that I think about it, that was VERY good marketing really. I must have sold over $50,000.00 worth of product as a direct result of that. Hahaha!! ....my sweat always smelled like amonia! Hahaha!

If you took 3g of BCAA's every 2 hours every day (including night time), that's 36g per day. You would have had the EXACT same results from a couple of shakes of whey isolate daily.
Don't fool yourself, it was your consistency of training and diet (which must have been spot on) that added the muscle. The BCAA's are NOT why you gained all that muscle weight.

Not including night time. Actually it was about 300g per week. I also did a lot of sleeping Tue, Thur and Sat (the days immediately after my late night workouts) which had to have helped also.
I was following a Targeted Keto Diet with 3.5g full spectrum amino acids, 3.5 BCAAs, 5g Glutamine and about 80g maltodextrose post-workout, followed by a high complex carb meal. Then keto till the next workout. All workouts done at least 2hrs fasted.
I try not to fool myself. I try to keep an open mind as much as possible. I'm still learning as I go. Even at 55 years old I realize the learning never ends, ...even when you think you have something wired there often is a completely different approach that works that you've not even considered. Most of my friends my age are so closed minded it's upsetting.
The use of BCAAs will often yield a higher uptake than a digestible protein. This is especially true as you get older. In my case, I haven't done well with whey in general. They seem to go right through me and I get no weight gain. Sometimes literally. I am considering giving SynthePURE a try just to see if it's a quality of product issue. If I find I digest it I'll switch to it. There are some advantages to whey that I'd like to enjoy. But I'm pretty happy with the BCAA protocol post-workout. So that part I probably won't change unless I'm faced will very compelling evidence to do so.
So, next, do I just follow the label instructions?
I weigh 235lbs. So 1ml/55kilos = 4ml. So, 4ml split 2ml AM + 2ml PM?
