hey all about 5 months ago i stopped taking supps and gear cause i went to the doctor and he told me when he took my blood work that my kidneys showed that they seemed to be full of protein that they werent flushing through, he thought maybe i had renal failure due to that. After he placed me on some meds my blood went back to normal and turned out i was fine. I didnt want to tell him i was taking roids cause well i would have to hear the whole crap from him. As you all know roids do this to you, but from what i read some where its due to lack of doing something right. Did i maybe not do a proper diet or maybe not do the gear right. What could be the problem and how can i stop this in the future ? any help i would greatly appreciate thankyou

Here is my opinion...your doctor needs to know, whether he likes it or not, so he can assess your situation properly...treating you for something you "truly" don't have can have an even greater negative effect. Our family doc isn't very happy with it...but he understands AND monitors things for us...PRIVACY is a good thing. The doc has nothing in his file about what supplements we take or anything like that...he just performs "routine" tests. As far as your kidney function goes, along with liver, sugar, blood pressure, etc...water, aminos and milk thistle are a great start...but you probably already know that. But water is very key...with what you are doing, you should have been up to two gallons a day...but as I said before...just my opinion...good luck :p

Perfect, bump that.

As a side note I take Milk Thistle all through the year just to combat drinking alcohol.

In my searches I've found; lots of water, ALA (1 gram ED), of course Milk Thistle and something called NAC. Now I don't know what NAC is so maybe someone more enlightened than myself can chime in with some info and description of this as it seems to be the way to go out of all these.

Okay, I did some looking and NAC is N-Acetyl Cysteine and is avaliable as a capsule or sometimes combined with Milk Thistle. The main component is the amino L Cysteine for liver protection.

Try Synthergine by Synthetek for best liver protectant.
