WILL CLEN CAUSE ME TO FAIL A DRUG TEST AT WORK?
IT IS JUST A FIVE PANEL THAT TESTS FOR ILLEGAL REC DRUGS.
I KNOW THAT SOME COLD MEDS CAN CAUSE A FALSE POSITIVE FOR METH AMPHETIMINE. SO I'M NOT SURE IF CLEN IS RELATED TO THE EPHEDRA FAMILY AND MIGHT CAUSE A FALSE POSITIVE AND THEN I LOSE MY JOB. ANY INFO ON THIS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

As long as its not a performance enhancing test you will be just fine. Its actually said that clen will help you pass a drug test due to the increase in fat breakdown. The theory is with the reduction of fat comes the reduction of fat soluble substances in the system. You will pass no prob bro

...amphetamines will show up in the methamphetamine column on a drug test, and pseudoephedrine and its analogues MIGHT (this is what you speak of regarding cold medicines). If you take dexedrine, adderall or dextroamps you'll get a positive reading. Clomid is not an amphetamine though bro... and it's certainly not a cold medicine. :confused:

And no, to my knowledge (and brief experience with the probation drug testing), standard drug tests do not look for steroid metabolites.

another otc med to avoid is tylenol with codeine. if you take it within 4 days of the test you'll show positive for opiates.

No one asked you the right question in this thread. What type of drug test is it? There are numerous, the cheapest and therefore most commonly used by business's is a urine test, anabolic steroids and clen will not show up in this test as they are not on the checklist. The second most typical drug test is done by using a hair follicle, in this case I could not tell you whether the test could detect steroids, but I don't think they would even be checking for them. Finally there are blood tests, which will reveal anabolic steroids, however this type of test is very expensive and controversial because of its invasive nature so you could most likely count this one out....In short these guys were right, but don't think that they can't easily detect these compounds in your system if they had reason to believe your ass was using them
