Arimidex Blood Pressure

HI,
I have been reading about the sides of Arimidex and High Blood Pressure is supposed to be one of them.
I started taking .50 ED for the first 3 days then down to .25 ED.It seemd that almost instantly my Blood Pressure went up.people are telling me MY face and neck are all red.My back looks like I have sunburn.

1)Could it go up right away as soon as you touch Arimidex?

2)Would .25 every 3rd or 4th day still help combat excess Estrogen ?

143 / 93 BP now

Any thoughts ?

I am glad you posted this. My BP has been creeping up but not too badly until yesterday. It shot up 162 over 102. My eyes bugged out because it has never been even close to that high. As it turns out I started Amiridex on Monday. I will cut it out today and see what happens. Will Exemestane have the same effect on BP?

This is borderline right now. Need to keep a eye on it right now and see what happens. Consider watching your sodium and drinking more water and see if that helps.

This isn't borderline this is running a little high. Keep a close eye on it. Try the same watching your sodium uping your water intake. Becareful with this pressure.

I am not going to fool around with it this high. I am cutting out Ameridex and taking your other suggestions. If it isn't back down in a week I am going to end the cycle.

What are you running on your cycle....Gear can raise BP also......not saying the arimidex doesnt but gear can add to this problem.

I am taking 500 mg Test Cyp, 300 mg NPP, 300 mg Materon. It was up a little something 140 - 142 over 90 for the past month. I was taking Proviron 50 mg ED and switched to Ameridex because my sex drive was driving my wife crazy. I switched on Monday and on Friday my BP was 160 + over 100+. So I think that is probably the cause. I have stopped the Ameridex today and will give it some time to see if it comes back down. I am optimistic it will. But if not I need to stop alet it get back to normak and then try again.

You guys are too funny. Everything you are on will increase your blood pressure. The test and nandrolone(NPP) more than anything else. The two will increase your RBC's(red blood cell count). The arimidex will stop all of the aromatase enzyme in your body from producing estrogen. Estrogen in the liver is important for the regulation of high density and low density lipids. Your cholesterol values are going up, but I doubt they are going up quickly enough to explain your blood pressure issues. Your RBC count is probably going up more quickly that anything and that would explain everything. In the mean time try taking one aspirin a day to thin your blood a little and as medic said watch your sodium intake and drink plenty of water to maintain your hydration levels.

GO give blood if you can or have to.

I am taking asprin. Thanks for the suggestion. I will cut out the NPP, but I thought that the short ester had less effect on BP as one of the benifits. I am aware that test has negative effect on BP.
