Griffen vs Shogun Might be interesting, as Shogun didnt look like his
self at weight ins. (he looked run down)

Fitch vs Sanchez Who really cares.

Fitch vs Sanchez -- who cares? What are you talking about , this is by far the best fight on the card. That guy Fitch has won ten straight victories and Sanchez has only lost once, to a very close split decision.

Griffin is extremely outmatched in this fight, why would they place a mediocre fighter like this in the way of a beast like Shogun who has fought and beat the best of the best in Pride, including Rampage Jackson? This is a lamb for the slaughter, meant to showcase Shogun's destructive powers.

Chuck vs Jardine, now theres a who cares for ya--Chuck should have this fight easily, probably first round, Jardine is nowhere near his level. Jardines last victory was a vicious assbeating of Forrest, but thats nothing to brag about, Forrest is just a blind swinger.

I agree Swoll, but Griffin was interviewed about the fight and said that he volunteered to fight Shogun. He was suppose to fight someone else but requested this fight. He might have jumped the gun a bit on this one.

One thing that was brought to my attention. Pride does not test for AAS yet the UFC does and Shogun, as bad ass as this guy is, doesn't look the same as he used to. I'm wondering how he'll do.

Still I'm just going to down load this tomorrow morning. No PPV where I'm at.

Exactly Krom, Shogun looked like a deflated form of his old self !

The last Killer they brought over from PRIDE (crocop) clearing throat.

You can say what you want about this fight card, but it will still be WAY more exciting than any boxing matches you will see nowadays.

Oh yeah I am not going to read the ufc web site, just watch the fights, but more than likely a spoiler will sneak to me in some way.
