View Full Version : Weaker once Dbol stopped?

Just beginning the 7th week of my first cycle. Test Enth 250mg twice weekly and 35mg Dbol (divided 25mg AM/10mg PM) daily for the first 4 weeks. Diet- doing well so far. Workout frequency and intensity- great.
About 1 week after finishing the Dbol, I noticed my perceived strength was down. My 1 and 2 rep maxes were down and I had to drop down from 185 to 165 lb on my back day warm up- Clean and push press 10 reps X 4.
So, is it comon to lose a bit of strength after stopping Dbol until the Test kicks in? and when will it?
I'm stretching my cycle to 12 weeks to allow more time for growth.

Yes, its normal to lose some strength after quitting d-bol. D-bol is a very powerful oral and it does give some serious strength gains. Just keep at it, train hard, eat right, get plenty of rest, and you will get back to the strength levels you had while you were taking d-bol.

My workouts at weeks 3 & 4 were awesome. Actually had to resist the urge to get stupid and pile too much weight on the bar. Don't want to end a cycle in the OR, getting a shoulder rebuilt.
Great pumps, but painful back/ glute pumps, ankle edema on off days where I was on my feet for 18+ hours.
Hoping I get similar rate of gain from the Test.

Bump. I lost some strength after I stopped dbol but the other compounds were enough to keep me pumpin!

I will be starting my first cycle in four weeks, and i too will be adding D-bol to my cycle so this is great info...Let me know Paul how everything turns out and keep us posted becuse i'm sure i'll be following in your footsteps...How have your weight gains turned out so far????

Skrillz- With the Dbol, I put on 10lb in 2 weeks, then 5 more by the end of the 4th week. Awesome strength increases, oily skin like a teenager and a bit of acne on my chest and shoulders.
I've actually lost 3 lbs over the last 2 weeks despite getting my protein in. I still run 3-7 miles daily, and it's a bit easier without the Dbol induced bloat.
Now, if that damn Test Enth would kick in like the Dbol, I could get on with 6 more weeks of awesome gains.

i got a good idea for you paul and what do you guys think? how bout running the dbol at the end of your cycle like on your 9th - 12th week 35mg a day and see what happens

Why don't you run D-bol until the test kicks in then??? I it bad for you to run it longer than four weeks???

Dbol is hard on your liver so 4 weeks is the best, though some experienced users run it for 6 weeks and some dumb assses for 10-12 weeks.
Be patient, it takes 5-6 weeks for test to kick in. What are you going to do when your cycle ends and your strength levels go down? Be patient.

Are you a bodybuilder or a powerlifter? If you want good strength gains take Test cypionate and deca for first half of the cycle, then test cypionate and sustanon in the second half of the cycle.2 shots of each/week I experienced lots of strength,size and thickness.run the cycle for 6weeks, come off for three, then you can repeat. My current is 2 deca,2sus/ week and 50mg of d-bol a day. steady size and strength.after cycle use creatine for retaining water within the muscles.

So your saying run a six week cycle, 50mg dbol ED, test cyp and deca for three weeks, then test cyp and sust for three weeks? then come off for three weeks and repeat?
If thats your suggestion then your a fucking idiot.
If not please clarify.
And while your at it give us some stats, age, ht, wt, bf%, cycle history

the one PCT that worked for me is:
1. depending on the life time of the testosterone used inthe cycle
2.e.g. last shot was 500mg of testosterone
3. two weeks after the shot 1500i.u. of HCG on Monday,500mg of Sustanon on Wednesday ( YES, you read Sustanon)
4.repeat the previous week
5. On third week only HCG and start Clenbuterol work up to 60-80mcg/day then two on two off ( use Clenbuterol for max. 4 weeks). Also start Creatine
5g and Glutamine 5-10 g in post- workout shake.
6. Eat high protein diet and eat clean for 5-6 days in a week, Let`s say from Monday to Saturday afternoon.
7. Train 4-5 times a week depending on the recovery. Train with less volume
So it works for me, What`s your opinion?:confused:

Well, this thread has taken a turn.. But, thanks (sincerely) to the experienced and knowledgeable, shaky or possibly dangerous info is brought to the surface and critiqued in a constructive and occasionally sarcastic way.
Now, back to me and my snivel. Sunday will be the end of week 7, and yes, I'm feeling a bit stronger (At least I'm convincing myself that I am and pushing my limits).
Still, at some point should I expect the Test E to "Kick" in over a week or so like the Dbol, or is it less apparent/ dramatic? I'm going to be patient, but the Dbol effects are really apparent and I look forward to the same, but in a less toxic form.
Test E users- How did yours kick in? Mild or wild? Anyone else take a prolonged time to notice the effects?

Yes, I had what felt like a mild viral syndrome/ cold about 1-1/2 - 2 weeks ago... Just attributed it to the daily sneezes & coughs that I'm exposed to at work.
What I wonder, is that the test E may just be more subtle in effect than the Dbol, and I just need to put my head down and push hard (Old swimmer's mantra).

i didn't notice too much of a drop when i came off dbol on my last cycle. i was only taking 25mg though. i've learned my lesson guys, so don't worry. i'm getting ready to finish up week 2 of 50mg/day of dbol (25 in the morning, 25 in the evening about an hour or so before gym-time). last night i had my best lifts, despite the fact i was really tired from the night before.
