Greetings. I started a test only cycle recently and am using IP cyp. I followed proper sterilizing procedures 20min in the oven with proper ventilation. I did not filter the oil though. I have used IP oils before and they worked fantastic with very little pain.

I use 1ml 2x's per week. I did a quad inject on monday and I can still not barely walk. My quad is swollen and has a large lump that hurts like hell. I am telling everyone in my office that I twisted my knee. Anyone got any advice?

Quad shots hurt sometimes regardless of what you inject with. Put a heating pad on it a couple times a day and it will go away soon enough. If you have a large lump, you probably didnt go deep enough in the muscle. There is oil caught under the skin because you didnt inject deep enough. What you have there is a absess, but it will go away soon, if not be sure to see a doctor.

Thanks I'll keep on with the heating pad - seems like it is getting smaller. Sure slows the workouts though.

How deep are you injecting? You should be using a 1.5" needle and you should just about bury that into your quad....they usually hurt me also but never had the lump on the quad, ass yes, delt yes, quad never, bic & tris never. Could be various reasonings behind it. I have used ip syp & never even bother reheating it works fine without probs as it comes.

I use 1.5" for the glutes and .5" for the quad. Could be that Iam not penetrating the muscle deep enough for the quads. Not much trouble with the glutes - little pain small lump though. thanks.

Yea!! that was the problem brutha, unless you dont have much fat in that area, a .5 is not long enough. The shortest that I would go with the leg is a 5/8 inch, but thats me I can get away with that. I have been competing for many years, I legs are lean and very muscular.
