I'm spending way more on protein than I ever spent on gear. This is ridiculous. How do you guys affordably get 300g a day in? Is there an affordable way to do it? I eat tons of chicken, drink shakes, MRPs, allergic to fish, though. Is there a better way?

First of all, you want to get at least 75% of your protein through whole meals.. But to get that amount of protein, you must: 1. Cook a lot of meals
2. And drink shakes

I mix up my intake of certain protein foods; I like the ground turkey logs 99% fat free.
Then a breast in my next meal, then maybe tuna( but i see that your not tolerant to fish), Ground beef 96/4 .

It can be difficult if you work full-time and/or don't get your 2 breaks and a lunch a day..

Eggs,Tuna an chicken are all pretty affordable.
Like said above though, Redmeat is my favorite :D Top sirloin if money is tight or Ribeye usually. Yea the juice is cheap compared to the grocery bill ;) So Atleast you know your on the right track.

as far as protein powder... Ive been getting these Musclemilk Rtd`s
for a good price at Sams Club. Just over a 1$ each for 22g rtd

Yes, I am also getting in 300 a day and I know what u mean bro. I eat all of the above that everyone has mentioned and it is breaking the shit out of my bank as well! Not much u can do about it though, unless maybe u can go work at a restaraunt and eat the grilled chicken for free like I used to do..lol

yo guys goo to gordon foods and go up and order their pasturized egg whites 20.00 for six quarts then you don't need the 300 grams per day cause 200 g of egg whites are 98% perfect match for albumin and the bodies amino profile. Then you can take in a few other kinds and round out your intake for quality gains.

I take one day out of the week to pre-cook most of my meals. Like right now I've got a dozen chicken breasts in the oven. And I eat tuna straight outta the can, mixed w/ a little italian salad dressing. And I'm always game for a nice juicy steak w/ blood in the plate.

Peanuts are a great snack (no cholesterol) and cheap, $3.97 for over 2 lbs at wally world for party size. You can buy a chicken roaster at bass pro for $10 (ceramic cup that you place a whole chicken on) either in oven or grilled. Like rotisserie! Whole chickens are about 69ยข lb! I eat 3 eggs for bfast (1 yolk and 3 whites) - also pretty cheap. I get 5 lbs of protein powder from bb.com for less than $20. Sardines - 2 small cans or 1 big for lunch - less than $2, with crackers! I love beef but the doc said my ldl cholesterol was high (197) so trying to do just fish and chicken for awhile.

get another job.... get it in a restaraunt :)

They sell cooked rot. chickens in the grocery store, the whole thing is less than $4 at almost any store around where I live. You can eat 3 whole chickens for under $10 if you find somewhere that sells them around 3.25, Herb or BBQ are great from Farmer Jacks.

Exactly what I get.. I grab the frozen unbreaded chicken tenders, for my veggies I grab 5LB bags of frozen veggies from the grocery store cause I couldn't find any at costco.

I actually work @ Costco and have the executive membership. It costs $100 but you get 2% back at the end of the fiscal year so not only do you save in bulk but you get the 2% back which helps. I think they even have a deal with American Express where you can get an extra 1 or 2% using that card. By the way the one I work at always has tons of frozen veggies. Just ask them to find out whats up with not having any available on the floor.

Go to an egg wholesaler. They usually have cases (12 - 500ml cartons) of liquid egg whites. 50 grams+ per carton and you can drink them, or make delicious omelletes out of them. At 12 USD per case you can't beat the price for high quality protein. I drink 2 a day.
