I've heard big things about using B5 (Pantothenic Acid). To dose it you take 10 gms a day split into 3 doses for 3 months and then down to 2 gms a day. It's a lot of B5 but you can buy it bulk. I'm considering this or Accutane before I start my first cycle as I already have a turn key operation going on zits. Hope this helps.

depending on the severity of the acne and what your doc will prescribe etc.

Tetracyclines (bacteriostatic) - tetracycline, minocycline and doxycycline can be used for treatment of acne and are most medical professionals first choices.

Now be aware that if you plan to stay on a cycle these drugs are Inhibitors of Protein Synthesis,Thus making your gear worthless if you are on while taking them. If it were myself I would simply stay off the a/s while undergoing treatment for the acne.

These antibiotics will basically stop the steroids from being filtrated back into the bloodstream so your plasma levels are lowered do to illimination times being changed. You could compensate by taking higher doses than you normally would or use accutane instead.

Accutane is a very potent and you may get some of the side effects associated with its use depending on how you react to it. Accutane aka
isotretinoin is a poor rosacea alternative to oral antibiotics which are bad enough already. This medication is sometimes an effective treatment for severe outbreaks pustules. This acne medication can have severe side effects of sucicid and depression and more rosacea redness from the treatment, thus, is not to be used as a rosacea treatment.

Acne rosacea is chronic inflammation and congestion of the oil glands and of the skin, cheeks and nose appear red and flushed. Acne Rosacea looks like bad acne. Your cheeks and sometimes the nose have a flushed, red appearance. Steroid use can cause Acne Rosacea and this is why most medical professionals will use this as the last resort for treatment.

Steroids such as testosterone increase protein synthesis therefore when taking the antibiotics you should come off the a/s or increase the amounts of a/s you are taking.

Testosterone for example is secreted to the plasma and also carried to Sertoli cells by androgen binding protein (ABP). In Sertoli cells the D-4 double bond of testosterone is reduced, producing dihydrotestosterone. Testosterone and dihydrotestosterone are carried in the plasma, and delivered to target tissue, by a specific gonadal-steroid binding globulin (GBG). In a number of target tissues, testosterone can be converted to dihydrotestosterone (DHT). DHT is the most potent of the male steroid hormones, with an activity that is 10 times that of testosterone. Because of its relatively lower potency, testosterone is sometimes considered to be a prohormone.

Testosterone is also produced by Sertoli cells but in these cells it is regulated by FSH, again acting through a cAMP- and PKA-regulatory pathway. In addition, FSH stimulates Sertoli cells to secrete androgen-binding protein (ABP), which transports testosterone and DHT from Leydig cells to sites of spermatogenesis. There, testosterone acts to stimulate protein synthesis and sperm development.

Try the tetracyclines first if those dont work for you then move on to the accutane as last resort.
