View Full Version : Should I or shouldn't I?

I was a member here a year ago, but I got out of the game for a minute.
Alright, before people start asking I'll post my stats.
5' 10"
210 lbs.
somewhere around 16-18% bf. (yeah, I know...a little high to be thinking about a cycle)
I took a year off due to some personal conflict in my life. I tried saving an 8 year relationship and it seemed more appropriate to spend time at home rather than the gym. Hindsight being 20/20, I would have been better off at the gym.
So, I've been back at it for a month. I'm really disappointed with my current strength level. I know it will come back fairly quickly, but I'm seriously considering running a cycle.
I've run 2 full cycles and a third which I cut short (fourth week) when the fecal matter was applied to the rotary air movement device (shit hit the fan).
The reason I cut the third one short was due to a panic attack. I had a lot of stress going on in my life due to some poor decisions made by both me and my ex. I have a little anxiety about it happening again, but not enough to deter me from thinking about it.
So, I took a year off. Things fell apart anyway. I'm back at the gym again and feeling much more like myself.
Does anyone think it's going to kill me to run 400mg/wk of cyp? Would I be better served to wait 6 months or so until I'm back to my normal strength level? Just looking for opinions.

Glad your back Bro!! I did the divorce- save the marriage-oh fuck!! she took 1/2 of my shit thing myself. Tough to get your head set. Me? I would take some time to drop my body fat, get my blood tests, study up again, get everything going the way it should be then hit a cycle. You didn't post age either. Even so theres no rush. Follow the protocols and all will be well!

Why dont you spend a month or 2 with creatine + glutamine and a good diet and workout regimine. It makes no sense to jump straight into a cycle. Bust ass and get back into a good routine and then go for it.

Ya i would agree with the others here.....get yourself back in the game on a full training plan and proper diet. Then, when you drop some BF run a cycle.

Age? I'll be 30 in a few months.
I agree with dropping the body fat and making sure that everything is in check.
A buddy of mine gave me some cyp as a kind of "welcome back" present. It's staring at me from the medicine cabinet. I can hear it calling to me at night. It sounds an awful lot like this:
The Doorknob directs her to a cookie marked "Eat me" which has also materialized out of nowhere. The cookie makes her grow so large that her head and legs are cramped in the hallway.
Alright, you can't hear my insane laughter, but I'm laughing just the same.
Thanks for the advice, I'll keep it in mind, but you all know how hard it is to leave the gear alone. :D

We have a winner...it was an Alice in Wonderland reference. Alright, I'm going to hold off for a bit. My diet is spot on at the moment and the training schedule is good. I've dropped nearly 20 lbs over the last month. I don't see why I couldn't drop another 10 in the next. You don't know how bad I want a steak or a nice greeeezy pork chop! I hate cardio, so I do as little as possible. I probably should do more now since I have this carrot dangling in front of me. Anyway, thanks for the support!

I hear what you are saying man! I started my first cycle almost 2 months after I got the gear. Everynight I would hear the same voice,"do it, its ok. you will grow faster.". But had to lower my bf by 3% and get firm hold on my diet.

Women can fuck with your mind. I was out for a while myself because of my divorce.
But I got back into the gym full time for a good 5-6 months just to get myself back into shape. I am glad I did cause I am very happy with the cycle I am on but I know if I tried it like 3 months before I would not see the resluts I am seeing now.

Bump these...
muscle memory is a great thing bro. If your diet and workout are on the mark then I would give it 4-6 months before you dive back into the AAS pool.
and welcome back. "its the bitches that'll gettyas"

Not to drag this part of the conversation out, but I want to see if you all agree how little sense this makes. She stepped out twice over the last year we were together. The first time was with some 40 year old married guy from work...why? The second and final time was with a guy my age who lives with his parents and has no job. She says that he's fun and makes her laugh. I'm sure that laughter is helping her pay the mortgage right now isn't it?
I spent 8 years giving this girl everything she wanted as far as material goods. I worked my ass off so she could have the things that she wanted in life. I'm amazed at how much appreciation we get as men for this. We do what they ask of us, but they want to have their cake and eat it too for some reason.
I've recently started dating and I'm finding the same thing. I've been out with 2 girls so far. Both of them are still hung up on their ex, but seem to want to date. Again, they want to see if there's anything better out there before they move on. After having this done to me, I drop women like this so fast their head spins.
I don't think this is just my luck. I think this is probably a pretty common theme. After losing everything, I'm going to be a hell of a lot more cautious about who I allow into my life from this point on. As much of an asshole as it makes me, she has to prove to me that she's different.
Alright, I'm climbing off my soapbox now. This is still a really touchy subject.

Man I feel you bro.
After my divorce I didn't want to trust any girl. So I went out and fucked as many as I can knowing I will never end up in a long term with any of them. Then one day I meet this girl(my current GF) and she was different then anyone I have meet. I trust this girl with anything. So you never know you can meet someone special without trying. We are together alomst 1.5 years now.

Well I'm 43 so i can see why she went for the older guy. Just kidding. I'm on my thrid marriage so obviously i don't know shit. I got my house and truck before we got married this time. My money is untouchable by her. I am very guarded now, and I guess it's a bit sad but once you've taken to the cleaners once..........or twice you develop a very thick skin like callous and thats what i am these days, callous. It is your life, you invite them into your life and if they leave they should leave the same way they came in. but really I'm not bitter.....

As of for working out bro I agree. Get back to where you were before you start anything. I dont even touch creatine for at least being back in the gym for at least 3 months.

NASTIE1: You're doing exactly what you should be at your age. I should have done the same. Do not compromise! When you find a woman who can stand beside you rather than try to stand on you, you'll know it. Until then, play the game my friend, play the game. We didn't invent it, they did. What can a motherfucker do...ya know?

I don't want to jack the thread.
Been hungry is not good...It raise cortisol.
Eat broccolli with meals to full the stomach...more you eat more calories you will spend, the body needs more calories to digiest it than the calories broccolli provide.

I went through a divorce 2 yrs ago, and I have fucked more girls than I can count and have not thought twice about any of them. I have no love or trust for any woman...FOLLOW MY PLAN. I will have fun untill I turn 35, then go to Cambodia, and pick out a bride who will appreciate every day with me and in Amereica. I know a few guys who have done this with NO regrets. It might not be "TRUE LOVE" But fuck true love after your first is gone. It won't come back. THats my Opinion...
